A mobile scanning van for doctors goes to clinics that do not have this state-of-the-art equipment. The van is equipped with a NewTom 3D digital X-ray scanner. The scanner will scan a person’s head, excluding the brain, in 3D in 20 seconds.
The van is a Sprinter EB (Extended Body). The optional Sprinter “Mega” roof, available only for the EB Sprinter, has a ceiling height of 7′ which accommodates the scanner.
Sportsmobile interior is contemporary to the owner’s specifications. The electrical system includes a 12V and 110V 30 amp systems • 110V outside hookup • 3.0K diesel generator • 1800W and a 3000W inverter dedicated to the scanner, both pure sine • auxiliary batteries 200A OEM deep-cycle • 2000W inverter • built-in Danhard 12,000 BTU A/C.
The Sprinter’s rear has a compartment for electrical components and lots of storage space above to the ceiling. The Onan generator is designed to install under the van’s rear.

The City of Austin, Health and Human Services purchased this Sprinter to provide mobile support for the less fortunate. Tests can be run for preventable disease control.
